What is All On 8 Implants?
All-on-8 is the most comprehensive implant-supported prosthesis solution for fully edentulous jaws. A full jaw prosthesis fixed with eight implants provides superior stability, natural appearance, and maximum chewing power compared to removable dentures.
In traditional implant treatments, 8-10 implants are recommended for fully edentulous jaws. All-on-8 applies this gold standard, ensuring the most balanced distribution of chewing forces and the prosthesis remaining fully functional even if an implant is lost.
Treatment Stages
Detailed Evaluation
Jawbone structure is comprehensively analyzed with 3D tomography and digital scanning. Bone density and volume are evaluated.
Precise Planning
Optimal positions for 8 implants are planned with computer-aided software. Surgical guide is prepared.
Surgical Application
8 implants are placed in the jawbone under local anesthesia or sedation. The procedure takes 3-4 hours.
Temporary Restoration
Temporary fixed prosthesis is mounted the same day or within a few days.
Permanent Prosthesis
After 4-6 months of healing, custom-made permanent zirconium or metal-porcelain prosthesis is fitted.
