What is Clip - On Dentures?
Clip-on dentures (overdenture/snap-on dentures) are removable prostheses fixed to 2-4 implants with special attachments (locator, ball attachment). Unlike traditional dentures, they 'click' onto implants and stay securely in place. Patient can remove and clean the prosthesis when desired.
This system is an excellent solution especially for patients using lower full dentures. Even 2 implants make a dramatic difference in patients with retention problems in lower jaw. According to McGill Consensus, 2 implant supported overdenture in lower jaw is accepted as the gold standard treatment for fully edentulous patients.
Treatment Stages
Implant Planning
Bone analysis with tomography, implant positions are determined.
Implant Placement
2-4 implants are placed at strategic points.
Healing Period
2-4 months wait for osseointegration (sometimes immediate loading possible).
Attachment Placement
Locator or ball attachments are placed on implants.
Prosthesis Fabrication
Clip denture compatible with attachments is produced and delivered.

Ball-socket system. Economical and reliable.
Bar-Clip System
Clip on bar connecting implants. Maximum stability.
